Cause and Effect

Murphy McManus has many influences. One is his father ,that he doesn't know, raised him to be very religious. As a Devout catholic Murphy McManus leads a very basic life. The criminals in Boston also influence Murphy to start taking action. They make the world around him a very violent and scary place to live. Murphy McManus is also affected by his brother Conner. His brother Conner is a very imaginative and creative guy that Murphy has to reign him in on many occasion. however Conner’s ideas usually win anyways. With all these influences leading to the brothers killing the lowlifes in Boston it is no wonder his brother is a huge influence because without Connor, Murphy most likely would have died on the first day of Cleaning up the streets. now multiple outcomes could have differed from what is the true outcome. In the true outcome they successfully take out he bad people in Boston and scare away the future bad guys. however, they also could have been shot and killed, allowing the evil-doers to run rampant throughout the city. Also the brothers could have shot their own father when he is hired by the mob to try to kill them, but they don't realize it is him, and neither does he. One outcome might have been that only Conner survived their escapades and now has to live with the loss of his brother.

Advocation

Dependability is trait most people would like to have in a friend. Murphy McManus is the definition of dependable. Whenever his brother or friends need him, Murphy has got their backs. When Murphy and his brother get into a bar fight, not only does he help, he is a major part of the but kicking that the Russians received that night. Murphy help and protected his friends till the threat was over.

That’s true dependability. Also when they got into a gunfight with “The Duke” Murphy and his two friends all banded together to face off against the threat. In the end it was Murphy’s relentless fire that drove away the assailant. Even though Rocco, Murphy’s friend, lost a finger. They were still alive, Murphy had their backs until the very end and that is a truly important quality. The only people who find Murphy more dependable is the people he is going after. Whenever a bad guy does a bad deed, Murphy is always there to mob him up and send him to the gates of judgment.
